Unexpectedly Pregnant for the Third Time

Here we go again! I'm pregnant for the third time, and the first time I've had an unplanned pregnancy. I need to dig out my belly bands and maternitywear when I thought I'd be passing them onto my sister. My extended family all seem to have two kids - and luckily it always seem to be a boy and a girl (just like my two children). Now I've broken that pattern, and done it through without planning! We never thought we'd be a "three kid family" and yet that's what we will be. This is new territory for us all, and I'm not even sure how my two older children will take this as they are now six and eight. But I will not complain - I know how hard it can be to conceive, and when you do conceive, it's an absolute blessing - so we're taking the news well and look forward to the new member of our family!
