First of all, let me apologize for being a jerk all this time. I am sorry, my child. I have been blinded by my own dreams for you that I have forgotten that it is your life, not mine. I should have known that you are no longer that little child I carried on my shoulders. You are all grown up and I know that you will make responsible choices in your life. I am sorry for being selfish and for subjecting you to unnecessary stress with all those mental training you had to endure in medical school. I should have listened to you more. Anyway, I hope it is not yet too late to make up for my shortcomings as a parent. Let me tell you how proud I am of you. Whether you become a doctor, an engineer, a teacher or an entertainer, it does not really matter as long as you are happy. You have been so kind to me, my child. From now on, I promise to be supportive of anything that you want to do with your life. |

When Janet's parents found out about her relationship with Mark, they were very upset. They felt that Janet's dishonesty was a clear manifestation of disrespect. Janet tried to apologize several times, but every time she would, her parents would refuse to listen to her. They won't even look at her anymore. It was clear to Janet that she has really disappointed them. But despite the pain she feels now, Janet still believes that Mark is all worth it. He is worth it not because he is paid a great deal for his services as golf psychologist but because he is a good man, first and foremost. Upon knowing all the trouble that Janet has been through, Mark feels guilty thinking that if he did not enter the picture everything would be perfectly well between Janet and her parents. But Janet tells him how much she loves him and that she's willing to fight for their love for as long as Mark does the same thing. In the end, the couple succeeded because now Janet's parents have finally learned to accept Mark to the family. |

I have been friends with Frances since college. I knew back then that Frances had the potential of becoming a good leader. She was goal focused, determined and she persevered despite all the odds that may come her way. Although she was not exactly the smartest girl in class, she had good grades. Our teachers admire the way she handles the responsibilities she is given. When we graduated, Frances was a recipient of a special award for leadership. She was given such award in recognition for her valuable contribution to the school community. When she is asked who her role model is, she readily says that it has to be her mother. Her mom, who's a teacher may have done a great job in terms of performance coaching her daughter, considering how Frances is today. When Frances got her first job, she was very happy because she saw it as an opportunity to be able to help her family financially. It only took less than six months for her boss to discover her great potentials and so soon after she was hired, she was already up for regularization. |

For those who are tired of seeing and being at their everyday environment, a change of scenery is a good way to freshen one’s self. One way to do this is by enjoying nature such as going Texas lake fishing. The beauty of fishing is that you can enjoy nature while relaxing at the same time. This is not like hiking where you will get to enjoy nature but get tired at the same time.
Fishing will help you relax both your body and mind as you try to catch some fish. Lakes are very serene bodies of water so you don’t have to worry about getting sick while on a boat. You will also be surrounded by lots of plants as well as fresh air which is a good change from your everyday environment. This is a great way to relax and relieve yourself of any tension or stress that you might be feeling due to excessive working every day. |

I have many friends who like me are photographers one friend is a wedding photographer in Berkshire, another takes photos of food. As for me, I love photographing the countryside.
Not having a dog or a membership to the Ramblers Association need not be an excuse for a lack of exercise, owning a camera can be all the excuse you need to getting out in the fresh air more then 500 metres away from a coffee shop concession and viewing those strange green things that are apparently called 'plants'. It's always best to plan in advance so you can choose good, warm weather to walk in, there being nothing worse then trying to frame a good landscape shot when the visibility is down to 3 metres, or trying not to 'jog' the camera when pressing the shutter release with gloves on. Of course, to get the best from your photographs means you have to actually study the landscape you are about to shoot, to evaluate the proportions of the shot, the light and colours, any reflections or intrusions, which gives for a better experience of the landscape you are in as well as a finished photograph to keep in perpetuity. Again of course, it would be just as easy to stay in that coffee shop and read a book about landscape photographers! |

Yoga is one kind of exercise that most people tend to ignore because they think it is boring and not helpful at all. This kind of mentality should be avoided at all costs, because the kinds of benefits you get from yoga training are more than you can imagine. There is also a mental training carried out in yoga that has proved to be very helpful in making the mind think faster and appear less stressful. The kind of reasoning you have before you practice yoga is completely different from the one you will have when you have come out of a yoga exercise. You will feel more relaxed, and your mind will make decisions faster because the kind of mindset that you have has been transformed after the long exercise. Your mental attitude changes as well as the physical posture of your body, and this is the same thing you gain while working out in the gym or any other kind of exercise. It is good to practice yoga once in a while the results may end up surprising you big time. |
