On My Love of Electronics

I'm quite an obsessive in regards to electronic gadgets. I bought my first micro computer in 1982 - a Vic 20. After that, I was very much into the electronics within the micro computer. Back in those days microcomputers had just a few kilobytes of ROM and RAM, and even 16K was viewed to be a reasonably extensive measure of on-board memory (unbelieveable when compared to today). What's amazed me is the acceleration in which electronics has developed over the last 20 years.

In the 90s, I was building my own personal computers from spare parts. Still, even that did not satiate an even deeper desire to actually discover what was going on in the circuit boards themselves.

During the last ten years, my career has familiarized me to the pin diode and their practices in microwave broadband. My career has engaged me in a somewhat diverse path, even so I've seen that my love for electronics has kick-started once again, and I'm discovering that this particular sphere of hardware is utterly absorbing. Who can know what the future holds too, when thinking about technology? All I can do is abide by my own thirst for knowledge and hope my passion never dminishes and grants me to keep up with the fantastic improvements in electronics we witness on a well-nigh everyday basis.
