Instant House Maid on my Christmas Break

Christmas break was fast approaching this is truly the time wherein I can fully make use of my bed. I have been deprived of a good quality sleep for the past months because of school. Now its Christmas break, I will have the opportunity to sleep anytime I want to. Weeks before Christmas, our housemaids asked my mother if she can go home and spend some an early Christmas with her family. Although she promised to be home on the 23rd, my mother gave her the freedom to do so. It was almost New Year and still she has not come home to us because of that, I became an instant dishwasher, cleaner and laundry manager in our house. I need to manage the house hold chores because my mother easily gets tired. My conscience won’t allow me to sleep seeing how my mother would do it herself. I was just dismayed thinking I should have spent hours of sleeping rather than doing these chores. I just hope my mother would give me some extra bonus from the hard work I have been putting just to keep our house clean.
