Getting Your Customer to Buy

If you want to get a lot of visitors as a result of your PPC advertisement, then there are a lot of things you can do. One thing that is important, is your ad placement.
Imagine if you are looking through search results of a search engine. How much are you prepared to look at? If you find what looks like the right things near the top of the page, you will not bother to look any further. You will just click that link and get on.
This means that if you want your advertisement to be clicked, then it will need to appear as near to the top as possible. With PPC advertisements, this can be costly. If you are in a highly competitive area, then having your advertisements appear near the top can be extremely costly. Although you do not pay for impressions, you want to make sure that every click through you get is worthwhile and therefore you want to make sure that it is properly targeted.
However, something to bear in mind is retargeting. Google Adwords has a piece of software that you can use, where you can request that it shows a advertisement that has already clicked by a potential customer on an alternative website, rather than Google, when they are looking there. This is not only a lot cheaper than appearing on the Google search results page, but also acts as a reminder to that person that you had a product they were potentially interested in.
Sometimes we are not sure about a purchase and need a reminder and this could be enough to get them returning to your site and making a purchase this time. They may have left it last time, been distracted, had to go away and do something else or wanted to muse it over. They may have decided to look elsewhere first. Your reminder could jog their memory and lead to a sale this time. If you are unsure of how to do this then your PPC Management company will be able to explain it all to you.
