A Mother Thanks Her Daughter for Her Help

Carmen's mom is one of the most hardworking mothers I have ever known. She is a caterer in the Midlands and she works day and night. She works long hours but she does not complain because she knows very well that everything she does is for her children. Being the eldest, Carmen realizes that she needs to help her mom because if she does not, then her mom would grow old and sickly. She does not want this to happen so even if she's tired with her own school work, Carmen finds time to help her younger siblings with their homework and school projects. This way, her mom does not have to worry so much about school anymore. Her mom is very appreciative for everything Carmen does to help her. In fact, when Carmen celebrated her birthday recently, her mom gave her a beautiful present. A card was attached to it and Carmen was moved to tears as she read it. It made her very happy to know that in her own ways, she is able to make things easier for her mother.
